Parkinson’s Canaries

The Parkinson’s Canaries is a “Singing for Parkinson’s” group run by Parkinson’s UK, meeting at the Kindle Centre on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 10:30am–12:30pm, with a £4 per-person charge. It’s a friendly, informal group aimed at people affected by Parkinson’s — singing is often used therapeutically to help with breathing, voice control and mood — and newcomers are welcome to come along for a taster session.
