Welcome to the
Kindle Centre

The Kindle Centre acts as a dynamic catalyst for South Wye, anchoring neighborhood life through versatile event spaces, developmental courses, and inclusive recreational programming. By pairing indoor resources—ranging from professional workshops and health classes to flexible meeting halls—with external environmental initiatives like nearby country parks and mindful walking paths, the organization champions a holistic approach to community enrichment, connection, and wellbeing.

What's On?

The Kindle Centre serves as a vibrant community hub hosting regular gatherings that bring people together, including civic and intellectual discussions on local topics alongside weekly communal worship.

Additionally, the venue offers structured physical and creative arts programming for children and young people through age-specific movement and performance classes covering various dance styles.

For adults and older residents, the centre provides specialized social and cultural activities, such as a dedicated community choir tailored for individuals over fifty-five, alongside scheduled meetings for local hobbyist associations, special interest clubs, and participatory drama initiatives.

The Kindle Centre offers a variety of versatile spaces for hire to accommodate events ranging from large conferences and training sessions to exercise classes, performances, and small team meetings, with hire rates starting from £14.50 an hour.

Among the main options is the large, flexible Kindle Hall, which is well-suited for conferences, performance setups, or open-space activities like exercise classes. Additionally, we offer smaller meeting rooms and light-filled offices to suit different configurations. This includes boardroom setups, one-on-one sessions, interviews, and counselling, as well as the first-floor, lift-accessible space which can be split into two spaces using a sliding divider.

Support

The Kindle Centre functions as a vibrant community hub by hosting a diverse array of regular activities, educational classes, and support services tailored for all ages.

Our indoor programming fosters social connection, professional development, and wellbeing through free legal advice drop-ins, work preparation courses, childcare training, language integration classes, and specialized health sessions like fitness classes and Parkinson's support groups.

We extend our community support by championing local green spaces in the South Wye area. This includes Belmont Haywood Country Park and the Hereford Labyrinth, providing dedicated spaces for exercise, stress relief, and mindful reflection.
