Melody Dance Company (8 – 10 years)

Melody Dance Company CIC, founded by Laura Honeybourne in 2011, is a community-focused dance school offering free or low-cost classes for children across Herefordshire, including sessions at The Kindle Centre. At the Kindle Centre they run weekly classes on Thursdays, covering ages 5 to 17, split into three groups: 5–7 years from 4.30–5.30pm, 8–10 years from 5.30–6.30pm, and 10–16 years from 6.30–7.30pm, teaching street dance, freestyle and contemporary styles, with a free taster session available for new starters. Beyond the regular weekly classes, MDC has also partnered with the Kindle Centre and the South Wye Development Trust to run holiday workshops there, such as dance-fest summer sessions covering street dance, contemporary and freestyle routines, plus events like a cheer camp and Easter contemporary dance and craft workshops.
